Waste Management in Poor Areas Impact Berry

At Impact Berry we strongly believe, taking care of our environment is of utmost importance. Reducing significantly the use of plastics as well as removing plastics waste from the environment for instance is one important yet impactful mean to care about our ecosystem and avoid toxicity to flourish. Unfortunately, in many urban AND rural areas rivers and canals look like in the picture below.

Striving for a cleaner planet that has a chance to recover from human waste, we are committed to reduce plastics wherever possible as well as inspire others to do so. Where this is not possible re push for recycled materials or compostable ones.

Conducting camps with children and teachers in Indonesia, we frequently include waste management and cleaning workshops such as in east Lombok in September 2019 to educate children and increase awareness. Furthermore we have partnered with Pituq, a local Indonesian NGO from Lombok, that drives the use of ecobricks in the region to replace conventional building materials by plastic waste, that is collected and removed from the environment.
